A Few Traveling Looks - Charleston

"If you're a bird, I'm a bird." - Noah Calhoun

Danielle and I recently travelled to Charleston, SC, with my husband and 2 kids. Charleston is absolutely beautiful and they shopping is great, so I recommend everyone going at least once in their life! I also happen to be THE BIGGEST fan of the movie The Notebook, which was filmed in Charleston, so I had a blast checking out a lot of the places that the scenes were shot!

Unfortunately my son Kellan got the stomach flu on the way down there, so between Danielle and I switching off staying in the hotel room to lay with poor Kellan, we probably only had about 24 hours outside of the hotel. Needless to say, many of my "Charleston outfits" didn't make it out of the suitcase. Here are some that I got a chance to wear (more of me & D together coming on a later post). Enjoy!!

Dress- Urban Outfitters
Shoes- Michael Kors
Clutch - Coach

Hubs & I in front of the American theatre! (Movie theater scene from The Notebook)

A little gold arm party I was having!

Dress- Ya purchased from Julie's Boutique
Danielle called this my 'Emily Maynard look'. I think that Maxi dresses are the epitome of gorgeous lazy fashion. You can throw them on and you instantly look chic and put together. I had a french braid in my hair all day; just took it out and threw on some mascara and we went out to dinner. Easiest look of the weekend!

Dress- Vertigo Paris
Clutch - Coach
Went out one night with the hubs, so I wore this dress. It was so comfy but yet sexy and fun for nighttime!

My little sweeties finally making it out of the hotel room on the last day!!

Have you all ever been to Charleston? What did you think?!

Blessings,

Kat

My 3 year old got the stomach recently on a trip so I totally feel your pain. Not fun when your away from home and you have sick kids.
