OPI Red Ombre Nails

Ombre nails are on trend with celebs like Lauren Conrad and I am loving the look! I have been obsessed with the ombre look since about 2002 - I'll never forget when this girl came into school with this blue shirt that faded from dark to light and I thought it was the cutest thing I had ever seen. (Clearly if I can remember a shirt that a specific girl wore almost 10 years later...)

Anyhow, I also love the look on hair ( a la Giuliana Rancic...) but my hairdresser says that I'm too blonde to make it happen, so I had to settle for the Ombre on my nails. I went with an all OPI gel manicure in red shades, but you can do this with almost any color. Next time I think I'm going to try purple.

Here is the results along with some OOTD pics. Enjoy ladies! :)

Top - Francesca's
Yellow Denim - Hurley
Shoes - Pinkberry from DSW years ago
Belt - H&M
Watch - Marc by Marc Jacobs
Fox Ring & Bangle Set - Mary and Dyer

Hope you all like! This look is so easy to do and so fun!! All you need is 5 polishes in the same color family and then shade them from light to dark. It's also a great way to get use out of all of your colors and to justify those nail polish hauls ;)

Have a great night loves!
Blessings,
Kat

I love this. I've seen people do the actual ombreing on one nail, like a gradient, and I prefer it to be done the way you've done it! Much cleaner!
