What to Wear to Carneige Hall

Happy weekend ladies! I woke up to snow falling here in Pennsylvania. I can't believe it's snowing in October!! Anyhow, just wanted to share with you the outfit that I wore to the concert at Carneige Hall the other night. I was a little nervous about what to wear as it was a business event sponsored by China Merchant Bank, so I knew that I needed to look professional and chic, but also wanted to keep my style involved. So, here is what I picked! Hope you like!

My hair also was not in those Shirley Temple curls once I got there. I have to curl it tight and it falls out over the next hour or so.

Bluefly - My new addiction

Good morning ladies & gents and Happy Friday!! Woo-hoo!!

It's no secret that I am obsessed with online shopping & the deals you can get. In fact, I'd say that 90% of my wardrobe comes from online shops. My latest guilty pleasure is Bluefly.com. To be honest, the first time I ever looked them up was after I saw the bag in the background of the first Sex and the City movie. (Maybe because there was a Louis Vuitton box in the picture I was paying extra attention!)

Anyhow, ever since then I've been addicted. I mean, if Carrie Bradshaw shops there....

The other great thing about them is they have things for every price point, from Prada handbags to Romeo and Juliet Couture leggings. Their shoe and handbag section is insane, carrying pretty much anything you can ask for. I've found some of the best deals on L.A.M.B bags and Charles David boots. I am currently lusting after the birch leather Cole Haan Shoes. And by lusting after, I mean purchasing as soon as I am done with this post ;).

I also like Bluefly.com because you can trust the quality of the products that you buy from them. They sell reputable brands and you can get a deal without having to compromise the integrity of the product. I found out about the brand Wyatt from them recently and now it is one of my favorites! 

Anyone ever checked out Bluefly.com before? What did you think - amazing, right??

Aruba!

Hello my long lost loves! It feels good to be back, although I had the best time in Aruba last week!! We soaked up the sun, made a lot of memories, and had a great time at my girlfriend's wedding. I've been running around a lot this week too... I was up in NYC for 2 days, once for the ASD trade show to buy things for my store & then for a work event for my husband. We went to a  gorgeous concert at Carneige Hall featuring Lang Lang and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Needless to say, I am a tired girl today!

Anyhow, I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures from Aruba with you. I can't wait to go back there, it truly was one happy island!!

Hope you like all the pictures! Again, we just really had the best time ever. Aruba is definitely a wonderful place to visit if you ever get the chance.

Hello, Mary & Dyer Readers!  

It's Liesl from Fabulous Fashions 4 Sensible Style!  An affordable fashions, life, design and style blog, and I was so excited when Kat asked if I would write a guest post on her fun fashion blog while she was out of town!  

I happen to be a big fan of her many lovely look posts!  So, I thought I would share one of mine with all of you today, which I usually feature in a Look of the Day segment on my blog.

I sported the following outfit to meet up with a group of friends for our usual Friday girl's night out to dinner and a movie in Hollywood aka Hollyweird.  "The Ides of March" starring one of my loves Ryan Gosling was the pick of the night, and since it has finally started to feel and smell a little like fall in LA, or LA LA Land as I refer to it, I was so excited to be able to start wearing boots again!  Yippeee! :)
